RSA has two different eBook & eAudioBook vendors integrated into RSAcat, OverDrive and Baker & Taylor. If you have ever downloaded an eBook from Alliance Digital Media Library (ADML) site, you have used OverDrive. If you have ever downloaded an eBook for the eRead Illinois site, you have used Baker & Taylor.

To start using eBooks, you will need to first setup your computer/devices and possibly sign up with the vendor on their site. This allows your eBook account to syncronize between RSA's servers and the eBook vendors servers. If you have an existing account created via ADML or eRead Illinois, that account for that vendor is already setup.

To create an account with ADML (OverDrive):

Check the OverDrive help page for specific information on using their site, plus a good "Getting Started" section to help you setup your device to work with ADML/OverDrive titles.

First go to the eRead Illinois page and choose your library from the drop-down list.

Click the Login link in the upper right corner of the page. You will be asked for your library card barcode ID (starts with a D, no spaces) and your RSAcat PIN/Password.

Farmington Area Public Library District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, Farmington Area Public Library District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
